A fantastic experience selling my home with Watkins & Gunn. Clare was my solicitor and communication throughout the whole process was regular, detailed, friendly and professional. It's not easy to find a good solicitor in the property industry, Clare is one of those gems. Highly recommend.

Excellent service
We have used the services of Watkins & Gunn in the past and were impressed so decided to use them again for a conveyancing matter. Clare Touhig-Gamble and her colleagues in the conveyancing department are consummate professionals - they were responsive, courteous, communicated with us clearly and were efficient from start to finish. I would definitely recommend their services.

Fantastic service
Clare was so friendly and efficient to work with. As a first time buyer I was a little nervous and had some questions about things I didn’t understand and she was so patient and took time to explain everything clearly. It was always easy to contact her - she replied so swiftly to emails and always called back promptly if she wasn’t at her desk. Would highly recommend Clare and the firm.

I couldn't recommend Clare Touhig-Gamble and the W&G team highly enough. Extremely reasonable fees and absolutely brilliant service. Purchase of first property
I don’t normally write reviews, however I feel it is an absolute must in this case as Clare and the property team at Watkins & Gunn were fantastic! Being first time buyers in the current market, also purchasing the property from a very large investment company, added multiple complexities, however the team at Watkins & Gunn were superb providing timely and professional responses, taking the time to clearly explain everything and answer any questions we had at any point. It is difficult to find a companies with people who are passionate about delivering the best possible service to their clients, but everyone I spoke to could never do enough to help us! I would thoroughly recommend Watkins & Gunn to anyone who is looking for a professional law firm focused on delivering for their clients.

Property purchase
I recently purchased a property and used mark Phillips for the conveyancing process. Mark was so professional and helpful throughout the process and kept me well informed at each stage. I was astonished at how quickly and efficiently mark got things done. Mark was always available via email and always answered the phone. The whole process was extremely stressful as I haven’t sold and bought a property before at the same time. My anxiety was extreme and mark tolerated me and kept me as calm as possible throughout the process. Towards the end I dealt with Clare who ended up doing the exchange on the property and she was just as helpful, reassuring and efficient as mark. I have had dealings with many solicitors and I would highly recommend Watkins & Gunn for any conveyancing work.

Amazing, professional service from the whole team!
We bought our first house through Watkins and Gunn and they made the process so easy and enjoyable! After being told by everyone how stressful this experience would be, our Solicitor Clare Touhig-Gamble made the transaction a smooth and stress free process. She constantly gave us updates and reassured us of all questions and queries that we had. She went above and beyond for us and we cannot speak highly enough of her. As well as Clare, the rest of the Property Team deserve praise for their helpfulness and politeness every time we had called/emailed. The service we have received from everyone here has been impeccable. We most certainly will be using Watkins and Gunn again! More specifically when we re-mortgage our recently bought house in 2 years time. Thank you all!

Phenomenal service
My partner and i have had a really bad experience with solicitors whilst going through a remortgage. I reached out to Watkins and Gunn when i was told i needed legal advice. Wow! The difference in service compared to our solicitors was incredible. Clare & Shannon from the property team were kind, empathetic and attentive. No query was too much hassle. I required the legal advice asap and the prompt service from Clare is fantastic, she even thanked me for my patience (not even 2 days it took for the headed letter), we have been fighting a remortgage for 18 months and have not once been thanked for being patient. This is a first class service, and highly recommended by myself. Thank you!!

Fantastic Speedy Service
We recently purchased land and really need the whole experience to be very quick as time was of the essence.
The property team headed by Clare were very efficient and kept us updated throughout the whole process.

Outstanding
Purchased my first home via property team in pontypool. I was kept up-to date at all key stages, my expectations were set right from the outset regarding timescales/transparency with with fees and the whole process was carried out in record time - even after the backlog from the pandemic. Cannot recommend these guys enough!
