First Time Buyer
I cannot fault Sarah Walker with the conveyancing process and advice received concerning the purchase of my first home. She was organised, highly efficient, friendly, straightforward and kept in touch about what was happening promptly. Everything was made so much easier as things happened when she said they would. When Sarah was on leave Mark was also great.
Prior to appointing her, she was happy to answer all of my questions, and during the process patiently and professionally responded to queries despite them probably being annoying questions received from every first time buyer. On completion day, when it took several hours longer than expected to get the keys, and it was after 1700 on a Friday evening, Sarah wouldn't go home until she knew I had them. She is supposed to finish at 1430.
If there was something negative I could think of I wouldn't hesitate to be upfront and share, and honestly I cannot think of anything. (And I'm usually the type to find something!)
If you're looking to appoint a conveyancing solicitor I would recommend stopping searching and ask for Sarah at GWL.

Fast, effective, and efficient

Excellent service and help with mothers flat sale
Our solicitor Sarah was excellent, always returning phone calls, answering queries, same day. Also evidently well experienced in handling apartment sales with complications of management companies. The contrast with other sellers in the chain using online conveyancing options was significant and testament to the importance of using a professional firm with free access to the person (i.e. a solicitor) dealing with your case. I have nothing but praise for her and GWL

House Sale
Sarah Walker has been my sisters and my solicitor in dealing with the sale of my mother's house. It has been a lengthy sale. Although my sister has done all the work with Sarah's huge input, Sarah has kept me up to date with all the situations that have occurred.
Even the estate agent has been praising Sarah with her prompt actions and answers.
Very happy with our result.

Would recommend
I would recommend GWL to anyone to anyone. I dealt with Peter and Sarah, concerning probate and moving house. They were easy to get in touch with & both were experienced and knowledgeable. They always had time to speak & explain anything I was unsure about. Their costs were very reasonable & they were timely in getting the process completed. I will no doubt use them again in the future.
