Friendly and efficient

Purchase of 38 Gladstone Street, Harrogate
Buying a house is said to be one of the most stressful events in our lives. It is emotionally charged and involves extensive paperwork and an understanding of intricate legal issues.
My solicitor Mariette was super. She took me through the detail and complexities of the house buying process step by step. She was reassuring, always professional, responding very promptly to my many queries. For me there was an added sense of urgency as my rental lease was due to expire and indeed the flat was sub standard and unhealthy. Whilst ensuring that all aspects of the process were thoroughly resolved, Mariette made certain that the whole process was completed within my urgent timescale. I am very grateful.
One of the key attributes of the service that I received from Mariette was her approachability and willingness to quickly resolve my anxieties. In this respect, I felt it was great that Walker Foster have one of their offices based in Harrogate and I could pop in at any time if necessary rather than send signed forms through the post. This certainly helped a great deal at the exchange of contracts stage.
I cannot recommend Walker Foster and especially Mariette Marren highly enough. The service they provided was exceptional at all times and the office in Harrogate is super asset for the Harrogate area.

Fantastic experience buying and selling
Mariette was brilliant throughout the process. Our sale and purchase both went through smoothly. Mariette was thorough with her explanations and requests, and she always clarified things clearly when we had any queries. She was great value for money and always went out of her way for us. House Sale - Mariette
First class service from Mariette under the current conditions that we find ourselves in.
I am used to dealing with MY Solicitor - previously Chris Tunnard - so was initially disheartened to find myself being passed from office to office and person to person. The interdepartmental communication was not good - and I was starting to panic.
However, when I eventually ended up in Mariette's safe hands I didn't need to worry again. She pushed my sale along at an exceptional rate. Nothing sat on her desk for any length of time. She was always very quick in responding to my queries and was always a step in front me.

Excellent customer experience - house buying
Mariette was so efficient and responsive from when she took over the management and control of my very challenging and protracted ( none of which was due to Mariette ) buying process. She was always contactable via any channel and on hand to answer any questions I had no matter what they were, and there many.
Would definitely use Coles again and would happily recommend them based upon my own great customer experience - great service from friendly and professional people to work and interact with.

Land Registry Issues
I got in touch through the Northallerton office to Mariette Marren who specialises in Land Registry/Title issues, as we needed to resolve and issue concerning a small section of our garden which we thought was on our title deeds and wasn't!! I had a very informative and friendly meeting with Mariette at Northallerton, and she was extremely knowledgeable and reassuring.
Once I had sent copies of the necessary documentation, I could safely leave it in Mariette's hands, and the matter was resolved speedily and the title issued - all within 6 - 8 weeks.
Communications between myself and Mariette were frequent, and I was kept informed of progress throughout. I would highly recommend Mariette for anyone having queries over title/land registry issues - what I thought would be pretty complex turned out to be straightforward, not shrouded in jargon and resolved expidentially.

Mariette was so efficient from the start to the end of our buying process. She was always on hand to answer any questions I had no matter what they were.
She went the extra miles, we completed in a speedy 6 and a half weeks.
Would definitely use Coles again for any future selling/buying.

House sale - 9 Chapel Street, Thirsk, YO7 4SQ
Kelly Buckle Fleming and Mariette Marren worked on this transaction and provided a fast, prompt service and an excellent level of feedback. The buyer was pushing for a rapid exchange and completion and in the final few days Mariette was quick to keep the ball rolling with regular emails during each day to resolve issues as soon as they arose. A very professional service.
