Poor Quality work
I wanted help with a possible FTT against our freeholder. It took weeks for my solicitor to review the documentation I sent her, in fact, despite spending hours to put all the documentation together and clearly marked yup before I went away, I had come back from a 3 week trip away before it was tackled.
When I did receive the letter before action that I had commissioned it was so badly put together I struggled to understand what it was talking about; I had provided the content it was based upon. Clearly the letter had been put together in a great hurry. Despite the short amount of time that was spent on the work I was still charged 7-8 hours of fees.
I decided not to go ahead with the instruction, paid the fees (all of which is wasted money) and have moved to another solicitor and started again.

Professional, efficient, timely Client Service.
MFG acted for me in the purchase of my property in 2021. Despite the challenges of the transaction, it was conducted in a professional and supportive manner. I have in the past had several solicitors acting for me in such matters. I can but rate MFG practitioners and staff as being 100% on all fronts.
In 2022 I required advice regarding a difficult Right of Way matter. MFG responded in a prompt, efficient and, importantly understanding way, with a quick grasp of the issues, and evidence provided.
I practiced law in London for 30 years and was reticent about instructing a local firm. My experience has been very positive, and I would not hesitate to recommend MFG. Much thanks to Kirsten Bridgewater who has advised and supported me in a very professional manner in a very sensitive situation.
