Richard Barratt is a Solicitor and Partner. He is the head of our leading Divorce and Family Law team.
Family Law:
Consistently recommended by clients, Richard advises across all areas of family law, with particular emphasis on the financial consequences of relationship breakdown including cases where there are substantial assets, trusts, pensions and family businesses.
Richard is also an expert at dealing with disputes regarding children in the family courts.
Richard has a particular expertise in advising clients on pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements to ensure these agreements provide maximum protection for your assets in the event of relationship breakdown.
Richard is also a member of Resolution – a national organisation of family lawyers committed to non-confrontational divorce, separation and other family problems. Richard is a specially trained, Resolution Accredited Collaborative Lawyer.

Richard was open and informative
I have spoken to other law firms about divorce and there is no comparison. The other firms demanded money off you before they would give you any advice at all. Richard was open and informative in our initial free call.

Great service and quick advice
