I used Martin Tolhurst for a purchase of a property and they were absolutely faultless. Lucy and Leah went over and above and kept us up to date with every step of the way. They were extremely prompt with responding to any contact and dealing with any challenges along the way - which for us there were many! Through out the whole process they maintained kindness and professionalism but were also extremely helpful and supportive. I cannot thank and recommend their service enough to anyone, and would not hesitate to use them again. Brilliant service, brilliant company and excellent staff.

Helping me to buy my first home
Martin Tolhurst were really good helping us buy a house. They took us through the information from the searches, helping where we needed an indemnity from the vendor, and then exchanged really quickly once everything was agreed. We'd definitely use again.

Speedy and efficient service
Lucy Nelson from Martin Tolhurst did a fabulous job with our recent house purchase. Every email we sent was responded to really quickly and exchange and completion went smoothly. The tracker system online is also very good to track progress. Highly recommend.

House sale
Dealt with our house sale very well. Good communication. Always responded quickly to emails and when conveyancer was on holiday, redirected to another person who knew what was going on!

Sale of my house
Lucy my solicitor was professional & responded quickly to my emails & calls. My sale had a ‘issue’ with convenants & my buyers solicitors were poor in dealing with this. Lucy was on leave, a partner stood in & the situation was very stressful to say the least- I was disappointed I didn’t receive the support I felt was needed - things got tied up in legal jargon & I felt unsupported.
Situation was resolved & Lucy ensured exchange & completion happened smoothly.
