Terrible service in conveyancing
Terrible comms, poor excuses around staffing levels, failed to complete on time.

Read on if you want to avoid a nightmare move!
Gail and the were what I would describe as absolute super heroes! Our chain was fraught with issues and Gail and the team kept focussed and navigated the path through. I am aware of other issues in the legal process however I am a certified 'Team Butler' fanatic and just can not rave about the her and the team enough.
You would do no better other than to use these services.
(btw, this is n ow my 3rd move completed with them, that should say enough in it own right).

Sale and purchase
Overall a good experience, information was shared when needed and kept in the loop. Unfortunately there was a mistake made and we were asked to pay more money, until I found that there was a sizable difference in some numbers. Otherwise great service.

Slow start, quick finish
The quotation and price negotiation was clunky, likewise online forms, but the job was nevertheless completed on time.

First time buyer.
I used John M Lewis & Co to purchase my flat under the right to buy scheme. I found the process initially quite overwhelming, especially the paperwork and understanding the process as I was a first time buyer and the technical jargon used.
It was decided that I should meet Gail Butler in person rather than doing things all online. Gail Butler was extremely accommodating and patient with me and was excellent at explaining the process and key points to be aware of. The only thing I would say about the overall experience is that I would’ve liked it to have taken a couple of months shorter but overall I’m grateful for Gail’s advice, patience and care during the process.

Nice experience with Gail
Gail proved professional & experienced, which helped to tackle various issues towards the end of the conveyancing and managed to complete by the deadline chosen by myself. However the progress was quite slow in the first 2 months.
