Complicated house purchase
I have recently used the firm to complete a house purchase which was complicated by numerous omissions of vital paperwork. Gail acted politely, professionally and tenaciously throughout, ensuring everything was in order before completion.

Great service
Purchased land.
Timescales were cut short due to the budget as both the seller and I wanted the purchase completed pre-budget just in case of changes. Staff went out of their way, even communicating with me after hours to get the transfer completed in time.
My Solicitor gave great advice on the many, many calls that I made to her.

Deeply Disappointing
I have used John M Lewis before to move house, however, on this occasion, I have been left very very disappointed. For example, I received several last minute requests that needed immediate action that could have been easily highlighted and sorted months earlier, to a failure in the system on the day of the move that nearly derailed the whole process. A mistake that led to additional costs by the removal company. When we approached John M Lewis to at least share responsibility for the additional costs, PM Law Group (now the owners of John M Lewis) refused, despite the enormous stress created on the day through no fault of our own. The refusal to accept any liability for a mistake in their system, I cannot recommend this solicitor. In short, the John M Lewis that we knew no longer exists based on my experience.

Auction purchase
Thank you TEAM Butler, getting a auction purchase over the line in not easy as you have 28 days to complete. Gail and her team were fantastic throughout my dealings with John M Lewis.

Professional service from start to finish with a friendly and approachable team. It makes such a difference to be able to put a face to the name when I needed to go into the office and sign documents with me having issues with emails/ printing, the team were able to have paperwork ready and waiting for me to avoid delays in the sale process.
