Avoid like the plague, truly awful service
Lack of effort, expertise and communication. Extremely stressful when moving house and sofa surfing. Showed absolutely no initiative and agreed between himself and the other sol a 2 week completion when seller was desperate to sell and I was desperate to move in. I had the misfortune to have him tied to a lease extension for the flat, abysmal service, avoid at all costs.

It was a complete disaster from the start. They only sent the contract to sign a day before we were supposed to exchange contracts. Same with ID checks. They refused to carry out basic checks and to provide confirmation to the buyer solicitors that we were the legitimate owners. This caused great concern to the buyer's solicitors. They refused to change a misspelled name on the tittle, so we had to pay different solicitors to do this. They refused to remove a LL Form from the tittle, so again we paid other solicitors to do this. The buyer solicitors and the state agents were left completely astonished about their poor level of service and they refusal to provide assurances that they had carried out simple duty of care checks on us (their clients which they were representing!!) We never got to communicate with the actual solicitor appointed to the case, only with the legal assistant, she was very responsive, but at times it seemed like she was totally avoiding what the other part solicitors were requesting of them. There were extremely rude exchanges with both state agents and the other part solicitors. The amount of stress we went through because of their poor standards of service can not be expressed with words. We would have changed solicitors at several stages but that would have delayed things even more, so we had to stick with them. Completion did happen finally, but honestly, these people should not be in business. I'm not a person inclined to make complaints, but we just couldn't believe how this company behaved.

Absolutely awful service
Really awful service, calls always go to voicemail, e-mails never responded to and a manger that has the attitude "tough luck" when you call and say you aren't having any response from the solicitor handling your case.
I would never, ever recommend these solicitors to anyone, ever!
