House Purchase
Went very well, no hassles. Was a straight forward purchase, kept informed all the way through. Had family emergency at the beginning and Sharon and her team was very understanding.

It was ok but that's about it!
We weren't kept up to date with everything this could have been our buyers solicitor as well?
They didn't always reply to emails.
Also we were asked the same questions more than once or twice.
On the plus size we completed by 10.30 so that was good.

House sale
Although the sale of the property took longer than we might’ve hoped, this seems to be the norm these days and wasn’t due to any delay on the part of our solicitor, who helped us gather all of the necessary information in a timely manner. Whenever we had contact with her she was always friendly and efficient.

Very efficient
Having advised that the process would take approximately 12 weeks - Sharon efficiently, with support from her secretary Maria, achieved said goal. Unfortunately the rest of the chain did not adhere to said time scale and despite challenging other buyers it took a further 2.5 months to complete.
Communication could have been better, as I had to email regularly to be updated and then I was not given information on who or what was causing the delay.
However I found Sharon to be empathetic towards end of the process and overall was pleased to have chosen Sharon as our solicitor.

Straightforward

Buying and selling
Was very good … only disappointed on day of move … not informed we could pick up key to new property ( not sure who forgot to phone us). Which in turn cost is an extra £115.00 for hire if van as we couldn’t get it back by five pm .. sadly put a bit of a damper on day
