Sophie West is a highly experienced Senior Associate Solicitor in our Farnham office as part of the Wills and Inheritance team. With a compassionate and client-focused approach, Sophie specialises in helping individuals and families plan for the future, often during pivotal and sensitive moments in their lives. Sophie studied Modern History at Oxford University before completing her legal qualifications at BPP and the College of Law. She trained and qualified as a solicitor at Stevens & Bolton in Guildford, gaining extensive expertise in private client law. She is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and an accredited member of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers, reflecting her specialist knowledge in this complex and evolving area. Known for her personable and professional manner, Sophie recognises that many of her clients come to her during times of vulnerability - whether they are preparing for the future, putting their affairs in order, or dealing with the loss of a loved one. Her empathetic approach ensures clients feel supported and confident throughout the process.
