I used E J Winter for purchasing our new home, as well as selling my previous home. They were always easy to reach and helpful with any questions I might have along the process. I was selling a leasehold flat which had a lot of queries and they were able to address them promptly and efficiently. I found pricing to be quite reasonable for the quality of service they offer. I worked closely with Holly Arundell for my flat sale, who was incredibly helpful. I would definitely consider using them again for future needs.

Excellent Service
I have recently purchased a flat and used E J Winter as my Solicitors. Filip was amazing. From start to finish, I was very impressed with the service I received. Very professional and returned my emails in a very timely manner. I can't praise them enough and I would definitely recommend them. Nothing was too much trouble.

One of the best solicitors in Reading with some excellent advice.
I had planned on purchasing a new build flat in the Reading town centre and the estate agent recommended EJ Winter and Son LLP. From start to finish they delivered an efficient and extremely helpful service.
My main contact was Jamie Wren who helped me understand the finer details of leasehold properties and the potential risks of buying over a four-month period. He was extremely thorough in pressing the building developer for answers to my queries while also being firm over the dangers of architect certificates and the lesser protection they offer to leaseholders.
I withdrew from the purchase in the end based on personal and professional circumstances, avoiding a great deal of potential risk and lost investment as a single first-time buyer. A lesser solicitor may have skirted around problems with a leasehold flat or missed out the finer legal details.
EJ Winter and Son only charged for their services up to the point of completion, an honest and transparent approach that other firms may not follow. In short, I can't recommend them enough.

Excellent work
I have just bought my first place and used EJ Winter & Son LLP as my solicitor. They were great throughout, from start to finish they dealt with everything swiftly, kept me up to date throughout and were all extremely friendly.

No better Conveyancing Solicitor
I used Paul Kilshaw at E J Winter to purchase my first property and highly recommend him. I was previously using another firm and had such a bad experience I had to change firms. I highly recommend and will be using them again

Excellent Service throughout.
Cheryl Brabon was our first contact from the Conveyancing Team and saw the sale of the property right through to the day when she told us completion had taken place. This made any matters that arose and any contact so much easier as we didn't have to keep explaining anything to difference members of staff. We found Cheryl to be very efficient and would reply to e mails and calls very quickly making the stressful job of selling our late mothers home so much easier. Cheryl is friendly but professional, easy to talk too, we would recommend her and use her for her services without a second thought. Thank you very much again Cheryl.
