James joined the firm’s Dispute Resolution team in March 2021 following his qualification as a Solicitor. He completed his LPC at Northumbria University and his training contract with a practice in Carlisle. He is regularly instructed by businesses and individuals on a wide range of commercial matters including: Commercial and Contractual disputes, Partnership disputes, Shareholder disputes, Professional Negligence disputes, Breach of Director’s duty claims, Housing Disrepair litigation, and Property Litigation. Outside of work, James is an unabashed bibliophile with a particular interest in late antiquity/medieval history. Outside of books, he enjoys weightlifting and the occasional game of squash.
