Sale of Hallsteads and purchased of Newgarth
These transactions took far longer than I anticipated and became increasingky complicated primarily due to the failures of the solictors acting on behalf of my purchasers.
Despite this Gemma acted sensibly and did all she could to expediate the process.
Her communication and knowledge of the process were, in the main, good.

Gemma Duncan was excellent
I was really pleased with the service. While it started a bit slow there was a change of lawyer looking after my conveyancing, once Gemma was on the case she did a great job of moving it swiftly, representing my interests and being responsive to my requirements.

Seamless experience
Great experience using this solicitors, any member of staff I dealt with was friendly, professional and eager to help. I will use them again in the future.

House Sale
House sale went though on 11 th June and it took 14 weeks for the sale to be completed.
It was one property a cash buying and no chain.
Codie Slessor and Tom Coleman were sorting things at first but the last two weeks Gemma did seem to be push things forward so much quicker .
The vendor’s solicitor helped me put a letter together to get the deeds out from Atkinson and Ritson to be sent to yous , I emailed Codie to say I didn’t think I should be sorting all this what are we paying him for ? .
Tom Coleman emailed me to say it would take 8-10 weeks but Infact it took 14 .
Then when we got the email to say everything is done on the 13 th September you sent all the money to Jo Mason , it’s a good job we are close and we sorted the money out between us, because a lot of families may not have been so understanding, we did put both bank accounts on the paper work we sent to you .
