Will
We attended an appointment a couple of months ago to discuss our new will. The solicitor that we saw did not impress. We provided a detailed written statement of our requirements. After a long discussion where he did not leave us with any confidence that he understood our requirements, he said that he would discuss with a partner and get back to us. We have heard no more.

Making a will
I know there are less expensive ways of making a will, but I preferred the professional advice of a solicitor. It was easy to deal with Samuel Jones -- two appointments were needed. One to discuss the draft of the will, and another one to sign it. All questions were answered, and I felt we could always go back and ask more if necessary.
