Nicola has been with MSB since 2005 when she started as a Trainee Solicitor, becoming Partner in 2017. She is one of only five Resolution Accredited Experts in the Liverpool City Region for Domestic Abuse. Nicola’s passion is legal aid, family work with a focus on children or domestic abuse matters including public law care proceedings, pre proceedings, and private law children matters. Nicola is on the Law Society Children Panel and can represent the interests of children in proceedings in both public and private law matters. Nicola is able to complete thorough and swift eligibility assessments for legal aid. She has an excellent, proven track record in obtaining legal aid for people who had previously been incorrectly advised elsewhere. Nicola is committed to access to justice and serves as a Director of Liverpool Law Society. Nicola’s areas of expertise have been developed alongside her local knowledge. She is proud to be born and raised in Liverpool and has spent her entire professional career in the city, supporting families who have experienced difficult times. For Nicola there is no greater sense of reward in her job than helping people overcome the problems that may have led them to seek legal advice, and in ensuring a client achieves their desired outcome.
