As both a solicitor and family mediator, I always look for innovative methods of resolving issues surrounding divorce, dissolution, and separation, and am mindful of the emotional and financial costs of the parties, and any children, in pursuing matters in an adversarial way. I look to alleviate client stress where possible and to give pragmatic advice in the hope that an amicable solution can be found. I supported the ‘no fault divorce’ which is now in place and have always been a keen member of Resolution. I offer a fixed fee first meeting either in person, over the phone, or via video call. I can help you to know where you stand legally, what the next steps might be, and the likely costs involved. At this point, you can choose to instruct me should you decide to go ahead. As an accredited family mediator, I am well-placed to guide clients through the whole mediation process and can also conduct MIAMs (Mediation Information and Assessment Meetings) for people during family court proceedings.
