Peter Smith handled the purchase of our property and we couldn’t be happier with the service we received. Peter kept us informed every step of the way and always replied to any queries we had very promptly. We could call him at any time and if he wasn’t available straight away he would call us back very soon after. He explained everything very clearly, he was knowledgeable and professional at all times. Outstanding
We went with RFB on the advice of our mortgage advisor (Zoe Anderson from the Mortgage Quarter - also outstanding). Peter Smith did our conveyancing for us on our first home and we really couldn't recommend him enough. He met us face to face initially to chat things through, provided us with any information we needed and was really quick to respond to any emails/queries, if there was anything we were unsure about. The whole process was very smooth. Pete was really on it throughout and made the whole thing so easy for us, taking care of everything patiently but also applying pressure when needed to get things moving and showing initiative with different things we didn’t pick up on. We didn’t have to pester, or even ask twice for anything and Pete made the whole process a breeze. Katharine Whittingham is also helping us sort a declaration of trust and we have had the exact same experience with her. Honestly 5 star service, highly recommended.

Excellent service.
RFB were recommended by a local estate agent to conduct the conveyancing work for our house purchase. Peter Smith, a paralegal from the Exeter Office was outstanding. Peter explained the processes in a friendly and professional manner and nothing was too much trouble for him. We received regular updates as to the progress of the purchase and the process was conducted in a very timely manner. We exchanged and completed quite quickly. Katharine Whittingham, a Private Client solicitor from the firm draw up a deed of trust for us re the purchase, again, excellent work and nothing was too much trouble for her.
We are very pleased with the work RFB have done for us at very competitive fees and would highly recommend them to anyone needing conveyancing work.

Easy sale, Rocky purchase
The sale of our property through RFB Legal was straightforward. Our first two potential purchases did not come to fruition. Peter was diligent, helpful, friendly and patient with two elderly buyers with few computer skills
