Brilliant
What could have been an incredibly stressful situation was made immeasurably easier with the help of Michelle, Karen and Hannah. All of them giving sound advice, great with communication and clarity in navigating the unknown for us as a company. Could not recommend more highly.

Very smooth and straightforward experience

Care home purchase
I wasn’t given the service I was promised and charged more than Initially quoted and the contact promised wasn’t scalable and had to deal with juniors rather than the solicitor was said she would personally deal with my case . It was a horrible experience and sufficient advise wasn’t given

Saieja Karen has worked with you over a number of months, often in very challenging circumstances, to get your transaction completed. She was extremely disappointed to read your review having worked so hard to get the deal over the line. To provide some clarity: It was highlighted to you at the outset that some more junior solicitors would work on your transaction under Karen’s supervision. This is standard on this size of transaction. To claim you were not given sufficient advice is completely untrue. You were given some very specific and detailed advice (both verbally and in writing) that you chose to ignore. You insisted on pressing ahead with a transaction against your solicitor’s explicit advice not to proceed. It then went wrong in the exact way you were advised that it would. Your transaction then required significantly more work due to further complications from third parties involved, none of which were due to our own failings. Despite all of this, and us spending more than double the originally estimated amount of time on your file, you were still charged no more than originally quoted.

Commercial business sale
Frettens assisted us with the sale of our business and freehold property.
We found them to be professional, approachable and extremely efficient.
We valued their advice and guidance and would not hesitate to use them again.

Understood my issue/situation, and worked quickly to address it.
My case was messy and unusual. The contract Frettens had drafted at the outset afforded me accountability and recourse in law.

Real humans with legal expertise
I have instructed Karen at Frettens several times and have received outstanding service each time. This is a very busy person within a very busy department, but each time I have had huge amounts of contact, emails and advise within timescales I would not have expected. They are committed to getting their client where they need/want to be. The advice leaves me feeling like I am in control and well informed so able to make the right decision for my business. The advice is also personnel, detailed and feels full of quality. They have acted in both purchases and sales of business for me and will continue to as we look to build our business.
