I qualified as a solicitor in 2016 and joined Beswicks’ Private Wealth team as an associate in October 2021. I specialise in estate and succession planning with wills and trusts, ensuring that if any inheritance tax is payable, it is reduced with available tax reliefs and will writing methods. I advise executors in estate administration and prepare probate applications, including inheritance tax accounts where the use of the main residence nil rate band and business property relief are utilised. I have vast experience with lasting powers of attorney and deputyship applications. I have also acted on various professional attorneyship matters where we manage a person’s welfare and day-to-day needs if they are no longer able to do so themselves, assisting with moves into care if required.
