Defending a TOLAta case
The staff at Forbes were exceptional right from the start. I was in search of a solicitor and was let down by a couple. When I conacted Forbes they took details and made sure I was conacted back. During the litigation Lucy Scurfield has been professional , transparent and very supportive. I was kept informed throughout and explained everything in detail. The mediation she organised with the barrister and professional mediator was exceptional which led to a settlement that prevented me going through a trial and limit my litigation costs by thousands. I can now move on and not

Probate will dispute
Forbes have been outstanding from the very beginning. At times when things were very stressful I felt listened to and supported which was much appreciated. Thank you for the excellent work, professionalism, kindness and understanding. Lucy you were especially amazing. Swiftly responding and fantastic in dealing with the probate dispute I had with my siblings. Highly Knowledgeable, and clear communication throughout. Highly recommend Lucy and Forbes. Probate dispute
Nobody expects to be in this very upsetting & stressful position. Lucy & Nicola were fantastic with dealing my probate dispute. Both very professional, supportive & tenacious, offering valued advice & support whenever needed. Everything was explained clearly throughout the process & I was updated regularly. I really can’t recommend or thank them enough.

We can not praise Lucy highly enough! She is very professional, is very easy to talk to, is very knowledgeable and Lucy really takes great pride in her work and goes the extra mile! A great help at a difficult time
Lucy was a tremendous help to us during a difficult estate dispute. She is an excellent communicator of the legal realities and her advice is rooted in great experience. She is sympathetic, incisive, responsive, punctual and reliable, and has a very keen eye for detail. We are very grateful to Lucy for helping us bring this matter to a satisfactory conclusion. It was a trying time but having her on our side made it more bearable.

Will dispute
Whilst a very challenging situation, Lucy has been a pleasure to deal with throughout. She is highly professional and knowledgeable and extremely responsive. She strikes the right balance between listening to requirements/thoughts/concerns whilst also steering the conversation along the most appropriate legal lines, all with the aim of achieving the right outcomes. Lucy demonstrates an appropriate empathy and is also creative, proposing solutions that may not have been immediately evident. All in all, recommended (not that we would want to have to employ her services too often!!)

Professional and helpful

Lucy is a fantastic solicitor who really is a credit to her profession. Like many probate cases, the personal circumstances surrounding my situation were sensitive and emotionally challenging. During what can often be a complex and emotive time for clients, having the right solicitor makes a considerable difference. Lucy, although always highly professional, exudes a warm and amiable manner that consistently demonstrates understanding and compassion. On a practical level, Lucy is knowledgeable, experienced and efficient. Easy to reach, Lucy swiftly responds to any questions or queries and is always happy to further explain things if necessary. I cannot thank Lucy enough for her tenacity as a solicitor and her warmth as a person.

Brilliant service from start to finish
