We needed to renew our mortgage and time was very much a factor before extra charges were applied. Emma Cox was the first point of contact who was very professional and thorough but most of all personable and put us through to the right people in the company and got us ready for the documentation we would need to put forward.
The next contact was Maggie who, again, was very professional, kind and very quick acting (which is what we needed). She prepared everything and got us ready and before we knew it the application was put forward and the mortgage was arranged in a matter of weeks and we managed to avoid any unnecessary fines/charges.
I would definitely recommend both Emma and Maggie's services and if they are anything to go by regarding the rest of the company, then you will be in good hands in letting these guys take the reigns for you. Thanks again to both of you for helping us when we really needed it :)

Both Emma Cox and Maggie Hayward managed the sale of my house and purchase of another. They were careful, meticulous in terms of checking and correcting legal documents and processes. The transactions went through swiftly and effectively - they also stepped up to ensure that last minute issues were addressed. I am very grateful to them both.

I have always been pleased with the service provided by Barcan and Kirby. I think Maggie Hayward and Emma Cox make a good team. If one was on leave the other would always answer any queries. All my emails were replied to in a timely manner. I was also impressed that both of them dealt with emails out of hours or at weekends when there was a heavy workload in the office although I wonder whether the firm could employ additional staff to help them out at busy times. I am very pleased with my new home and grateful for their help in guiding me through the sales process.

Conveyancing
This is the second time we have used Barcan+Kirby, once to buy, once to sell, and the conveyancing team are fantastic. Maggie Hayward and Emma were super-efficient, thought of everything, and made what seemed like problems really easy to negotiate. Everything was done ahead of time, and it was nice to feel so confident all was being done properly and efficiently.
