Avoid Carpenters!
I submitted all necessary documents for the car incident in May 2023 and requested that they obtain CCTV showing that the third party was driving recklessly, as they drove into the back end side of my vehicle. It is now August 2023 and they have still not requested the CCTV video.
I have called Carpenters over 20 times spending many hours chasing for updates, as they do not reply to emails.
I have a claim handler called Megan, which I have asked to speak to many times, but never spoken to on 3 months.
I get a call from a lady called Sally who informed me that Carpenters (who manage my car insurance on behalf of ticker) have decided to hold me solely responsible for the claim, without even seeing the CCTV footage.
Carpenters never wanted to help me with presenting my case and I will never be using them or Ticker again in the future, as they have not acted in the best interests of me the customer.
I will now be raising a complaint in regards to this poor service and no doubt, I will have to escalate this to the ombudsmen.
