DIGUSTING FIRM - HOW THEY ARE STILL ALLOWED TO RUN IS OVER MY HEAD

If I could give them a 0 I would!.
Was referred to Williams&Co, at start they seemed on it and fairly reasonable, then they stopped reply at all leading to almost daily telephone calls, they have a breach where hackers got our information asking for money yet told me 'none of your data was breached although they had my name and address. It was constant stress and being ignored. Finally was done with in April 2023, fast forward to January 2024 and I tried to change my name on my house deeds only to be told I wasn't named on the title deeds. Several phone calls to Williams&Co and Land Registry only to find out there was some errors with the change of deeds Land Registry wrote to Williams&Co on 3 separate occasions all of which was ignored (I wasn't surprised in the slightest) I've now been told that the delay was due to something I signed back in April 2023 that was incorrect yet no one brought this to our attention or when Land Registry chased them off. I would steer clear and do it myself if I could. Never would assume a firm that deals with Land Registry to ignore there emails from them and cause customer stress and more chasing a year later. I'm now being actively ignored

Inadequate advice

I used Williams and Co as conveyancing solicitors for a house purchase. They were functional in the process but failed to highlight some key issues. Their failure to flag these to me and ask certain questions, resulted in delays and increased costs to the development of the property. I will not be using them again.

Terrible don’t not use!!

Terrible service. Ignoring emails also ignored phone calls. I had to do most of the leg work myself which really doesn’t help with the stress of selling or buying a house or flat. Eg I had to call the management group multiple times which was indeed their job not mine. Also this services incurred me extra cost due to the bad slow service of about £750! (Storage costs, extra service costs, all bills etc) as they didn’t make the completion date. DO NOT USE!
