Very untrustworthy and untruthful and had to take them to the legal ombudsman who stated ''due to the authenticity of the attendance note being called into question, we find that the firm acted unreasonably in explaining this and obtaining your consent to forward your passport onto their client''.
They awarded me compensation. They failed to look after the data and provided the opposite party with sensitive private information and data which was given to a known criminal. Henchleys fabrication evidence to hide this fact and in the end they got caught out.

Couldn't recommend them highly enough

I asked Henchley's to help me with a problem I was having with the transfer of my father's flat to the equity company that own it.It was a situation which I definitely needed legal help with this and what made things worse ,was that I live overseas and had to do the whole thing by email.Henchley's were fantastic at keeping in touch and updating me whenever needed and from the very start gave me an estimate for the work which jhad to be increased slightly due to the complexity of one part.I am more than happy to recommend Henchleys

Professional and approachable!

We instructed Henchleys' Findon office to deal with our house purchase. As first time buyers, we weren't familiar with the process at all and really appreciated our solicitor taking the time to answer our many questions and keeping us fully informed throughout. She was also really pro-active in pushing our matter through to enable us to complete so we could be in our new house for Christmas! Would not hesitate to recommend!

If you want a pragmatic and professional service, go elsewhere.

Avoid at all costs. Appalling at returning calls, emails etc. You will have to chase them up (and then they charge you for that also). 6 years to handle a divorce and some 20+ K sunk into this firm. I think I have been keeping them afloat for all these years..

I will be complaining to the Legal Ombudsman.

Don't bother returning calls

I left a message for them 3 times and when I finally got hold of them (I had to call again, was promised to get a call back from Stephanie. It didn't happen, we went elsewhere. She also couldn't answer a fairly basic question. Useless.

Extremely happy with Henchley’s

This is the second time I have used Henchley’s solicitors for my Property sale and purchase.
Stephanie and Sophie go over and above to get things done as smoothly as possible and are extremely efficient, thorough and supportive through the whole process.

We have just completed the probate sale of my mother’s flat.
Stephanie was extremely helpful, providing a friendly and very professional service. She already had a working relationship with the estate agent which made the process much easier. Her communication was really good,and at times after hours, which was much appreciated.
The fees were very reasonable and I would highly, and happily, recommend her services to prospective customers.

Selling your parents home in difficult circumstances

Stephanie was great exactly what the family needed. Had a solution to every problem even went to see my mum in the new care home to resolve an issue when it arose.
Friendly, efficient sound advice. The whole process was made relatively pain free and was carried out in a timely manner. Would definitely use again and definitely recommend.
