Frequent delays in responding and not making reasonable adjustments

As a disabled client, I would not recommend this solicitor / firm. I was put at substantial disadvantages and Mrs Bailey took no steps to address the concerns raised. Mrs Bailey would frequently delay responding and then display anger against me in her responses.

Support via Legal Aid

I have been liaising with Phil Storey since October 2022 to try and get help for my now 22 year old daughter with an EHCP. My daughter has been badly let down by the Local Authority regarding her education. I turned to Phil at a very vulnerable time for both my daughter and I. I opened an email from Phil this morning to say he was leaving Bailey Wright & Co, no update other than he agrees I should looks at a judicial review as the case is still on going. The email also says that my daughters case will be filed away as there is no one with capacity to take it on.

I feel my daughters case has not been seen to fairly due to needing legal aid. We both feel very let down. I feel we are no further forward 18 months later.

Can rest assured, in good hands.

Phil Storey is an excellent solicitor and provided moral support during a gender discrimination claim. He remained clear, calm and focused, ensuring minimal emotional stress to myself. I am extremely grateful for his assistance and would highly recommend him. My claim ended positively and Phil was clear throughout of the odds and work required.

Diligent, courteous, tenacious, highly professional.

Phil Storey tenaciously and diligently fought, on our SEN (Autistic) son’s behalf, for his nine month overdue Tribunal and High Court ordered EHCP therapeutic provision, against a contemptuous and highly arrogant LA. Phil made himself accessible, even when on leave, to advise us, update us and prioritise our son’s case. He got the job done, when we had all but given up hope. Without him, our son would still be languishing without his much needed ordered EHCP provision. We cannot recommend this kind and caring, approachable, but fiercely gladiatorial solicitor, enough. Thank you, Phil.

PHIL STOREY IS AMAZING

Phil Storey is amazing g. His knowledge and expertise secured my son a place in a SEN school. I can not thank this man enough and will be forever thankful to him. I can not recommend Phil enough. To anyone that is fighting for their child with SEN, don’t think twice when contemplating getting a solicitor. Don’t waste your time with anyone else, Phil Storey is 100% the man you need. Phil thank you so much for everything that you have done. You really are an amazing person.

Highly Recommend

I contacted Phil Storey as he was recommended by another parent who had used his services for a first tier sen tribunal. I’m so glad I did because it lifted a huge weight and burden knowing I had someone I could go to for advice and direction. Phil was excellent in his knowledge and advice but equally guided me so that I could still be in control of managing it which I feel was so important because it helps you to feel empowered. I had a positive outcome and the case didn’t have to go all the way to a hearing with a week to go! There were times I felt like giving up but having the support of Phil meant I could continue with it.

Above and beyond service and expertise in SEND law

The whole experience, from start to finish, with Bailey Wright & Co Solicitors was absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend them. A small company with a big heart, not a faceless corporate. I reached out to Phil Storey with a SEND legal case against my Local Authority and child's school for non provision of EHCP. From the first meeting, I had complete trust in Phil and his vast experience in this area of the law. He acted quickly, explained the law clearly, he was concise and consistent, he responded to emails and calls within a day and often within an hour. Phil was by my side for almost 12 months, he attended meetings and backed me up with legal letters to the LA when necessary. My daughter now has an EHCP which is clear, well written, legally binding and most importantly provides the education and resources she needs to thrive. We are delighted!

I would like to say a Big Thank You To Karen Bailey and the rest of the team at Bailey Wright & Co. For all their help and support and all their dedication and hard work that they have put into my case that helped me to get my Children back home. Karen and her team are absolutely amazing and have given me hope when at times I thought there were none, they picked me back up when I was down and always gave me advice and was always at the end of the phone when needed. They're all very professional and very pleasant but most of all these amazing people have helped me win the fight and my children are now back home after two years of fighting. My Children and I are so very grateful. I would highly recommend Bailey Wright & Co Solicitors.

I would like to thank bailey Wright and Co solicitors for their good service throughout my time with them.

I Mr Hazaea would also like to give many thanks to mr Dion Calder for his time and dedication regarding my son's case . The case has been ongoing for over 1 year and a half and in the end we got the case which turned out to be a great accomplishment and this could have not been done without Dion, espeicially with the experience he has on dealing with matters like this.

At a point in time when i was very anxious and worried with the whole situation, Mr Dion gave me alot of assurance and confidence. Having Dion with me the whole time was very comforting as he was able to handle every situation with calmness and clarity and I cant thank him enough. He was very responsive with my emails and he would go above and beyond. For example, anytime i would send him an important email when he's on holiday, he would quickly respond back.

Mr Dion, keep up the good work. I wish you all the success and progress in this field. You deserve all the appreciation.
