Poor communication

Poor communication, they don't respond to emails quick, I have had to chase them. Their excuse is that they are busy, but they need to communicate this and not just ignore their clients until they get frustrated. A simple title amendment request took 7 weeks from initial contact to action. First impressions are not positive so I would be reluctant to use them again. Their Livingston office wasn't the politest.

Disappointed

Went to see a property in bathgate which we loved, waiting for a call from estate agent as we wanted to put an offer in, we discussed over a few days what our offer would be, when a couple of days had went past and we had not heard from them, I emailed them to ask why I’ve not been contacted to be told the house is sold, I think it’s shocking we were not contacted as we wanted to put our offer in, not only has it affected us, the clients could have had a better offer from us and may have lost out on a better amount for there property, I definitely wouldn’t deal with yous if I was selling my house.

Not good at all

You pay S. Patrick to send emails for you. She can’t do anything else besides that. And even the emails she isn’t good at. Doesn’t chase or do anything to move the case forwards

Do not use this company.

I’m going through a divorce. I’m jointly owned on property with ex. I’ve had no say at all in the sale. Caesar and howie appointed.
Twice I cancelled plans for viewings. No one showed up. Not even a phone call.
And cause it’s there problem as to why I’ve not had many viewers. They blame me.
Like I say. Stay CLEAR!!

Train wreck experience

Ms Patrick was instructed to represent both my sister and I in some executory work. Initially, her rhetoric was encouraging with “ what would you like me to fight for you”!
However ,It became apparent very quickly that Ms Patrick couldn’t fight sleep never mind anything else.
A subsequent freedom of information/ subject access request, did however highlight that she was more than happy to waffle on about another case similar but wholly irrelevant to ours (at our expense) whilst enjoying a cosy ‘chit chat ‘ with the opposing sides solicitor and bad mouthing our choice of estate agent with regards to selling our late parents home...”Yes, it’s very frustrating when that sort of “estate agent” (Mov 8) gets instructed when you and I know that we could do as good a job, if not better, and for a lot less money”... aye right you are Sarah!
We never actually used ‘Mov 8 ‘, but since discovering that Ms Patrick is a current Conservative and Unionist Councillor, in my professional opinion as a Politics/Economics graduate, I wouldn’t lower myself to get a scumbag Tory go to the shop for me far less sell a property!
Therefore, It’s not IF you’ll have issues dealing with Ms Patrick, but I’m afraid rather WHEN further compounded when a work colleague had a very similar experience.
Do yourself a favour, avoid at all costs.

Shocking

8 months of expense with nothing done. I had to move on to another lawyer. They made me pay big time for this.
