I had contacted numerous solicitors beforehand who all balked at a conflict with an energy company – one firm wanted £2500 up front and others point blank said they didn’t have the expertise.
I realize now that the energy brokers modus operandi is to grind you down and dealing with them was like talking to a brick wall.
I would want anybody in my position to know about you and your firm because it was money well spent in getting this vexatious (and unregulated industry) off our back.
