House purchase

My initial enquiry was dealt with very promptly. The house purchase progressed very quickly and I was kept fully informed with developments. Written communication was very clear. Thank you.

Extremely poor advice and representation

We complained to the Legal Ombudsman regarding this firm because the representation in the case was so poor that the judge questioned whether we even had representation. Long story short, the firm agreed to a £3000 reduction in their final bill to settle the matter. We lost nearly £20,000 in legal fees due to their misrepresentation and we were denied our requests by the courts because of what the judge called lack of representation and proper filing in the case. Please take my advice, if you have a family law issue, stay away from Kidd Spoor Taylor in North Shields. They will not advise you in writing, require phone calls for all decisions and put it back on you when they fail to include information you gave them for your case (the firm claimed they needed to hold back information for court).

Looks like I'm losing my home. Thanks Tracy Taylor

Tracy Taylor of KIdd Spoor Taylor acted on my behalf from 1996 to 2000 in a matter relating to a shared property with an ex partner. In 2016 was informed and then confirmed that the case hadn't actually been completed and my ex partner still had a claim on the property. Contacting Tracy Taylor in 2016 the only "help" I was offered was that she questioned the integrity of a letter from Kidd Spoor. I am now facing the prospect of losing my family home because of this. Although other Solicitors have looked at the non-completion of the matter in 2000 and described it as Professional Negligence, I am told that no Solicitor/Barrister in the area would touch the case because of conflicts of interest. I take this as fearing that they will lose business. Take from this review what you will, I have only stated fact.
