Worst Experience of my Life

Worst experience of my life.

I write this review as a man recently declared unanimously not guilty, albeit after changing legal representation and being defended by a different practioner.

Forrester Solicitors attended my initial hearing, said nothing in my defence and subsequently played a large part in the outcome of me being remanded into custody.
The few times Jeffery Forrester did attempt to speak the magistrate was required to ask him to speak louder as neither she nor I could even hear what he attempted to say.

This for a man who had never seen the inside or a prison was incredibly scary, Adding to this my solicitor did not then request to see me and explain the process or assure me my family would be informed of my fate and location. Instead I found myself on a bus to a reception prison some distance from my home without money or even contact numbers in my possession.

In addition to this, when my family did learn of incarceration they, as instructed contacted Forrester Solicitors to locate which prison I was being held at. They were wrongly advised of my location meaning all correspondence and attempts to send my money either did not reach me or were severely delayed.

I spent almost 3 weeks without the means to contact anyone or assure them I was in good health (I had been assaulted at the time of my arrest and very well may not have been in good health at this stage).

Loosing all faith in this practice I attempted t change representation, however Forrester Solicitors attempted to prevent me doing so and claimed various mistruths as their reasons for doing so.
My representation was not officially changed until the day of my Plea Hearing and Forrester Solicitors had even assigned a barrister to my cases against my wishes.

During my incarceration the only attempt Forrester Solicitors made to contact me was through a 150 word email with no option to reply.

I will never willingly allow myself to ever be represented by this firm in any matter for as long as I live.

Absolute disaster

Horrible experienced that I had at the end of 2023!!! They are only interested in legal aid money, they have no interests in clients at all, they did NOTHING so decided to transfer the case but they didnt agree, finally I decided to transfer the case on a private bases- and even they have no right not to agree- there was a huge problem to do that. One of the most traumatic experience it was to deal with that horrible company!!! AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!
