I contacted Marshall Hatchick following separation from my now ex-wife with the view of starting divorce proceedings.
From the very start; the first meeting over Skype (due to lockdown); to the last communications via email, Michelle acted with professionalism and empathy, always very clear offering advice and support throughout the process.

After about 2 years Michele Chemili completed my divorce with a great settlement rate of 70 / 30 in my favour which is rare . Michelle is an amazing lawyer and treated me like a VIP always putting her heart and soul into everything she did. I am a well known celebrity chef and so settlement was not originally in my favour

Let’s be honest, no-one wants to end up in family court - but if you have to be there, Michelle is without doubt the solicitor you want by your side.
Every step along the way in our legal journey, Michelle was reassuring, empathetic and pragmatic. She was also proactive and invested a great deal of time and effort into our case.
While I’m sure Michelle had lots of other clients during the 9 months we worked with her, she always made us feel like we were a priority. This was really appreciated during such a stressful time as it made me feel like I wasn’t alone in it all.
Alongside Michelle, there’s a brilliant supporting cast at Marshall Hatchick - from the barristers (who were incredibly well briefed) chosen to provide counsel for us to Jo in the admin team who was always so warm and friendly when we called or emailed.
Thanks to Michelle and the team at Marshall Hatchick our family was kept together and I will be eternally grateful for everything they did to make that possible.

Michelle Chemli (family low department) did an incredible job representing me during a very complex and painfully long court case for the custody of my young daughter. Michelle demonstrated high professionalism, diligence, patience and most importantly she went out of her way to keep an excellent communication with myself, which I find rare for a solicitor. I could reach out to her at any time, including out of office hours that meant so much, in particular at times when was feeling stressed, scared and overwhelmed with the case developments. Michelle, I could not praise you enough! I am so grateful for everything you have done! I would be forever grateful for saving my little The outcome could have been so different for her if it was not for you! You are worth every penny and more!!!
