Extremely difficult divorce and finance
I filed for divorce in 2019. The finances were finally agreed in 2023 and the divorce finalised in 2024.
Due to how difficult and controlling the other party was, to myself and Lauren, we had numerous disclosures and hearings, to make it as difficult for me as possible.
The first solicitor left the firm, then I was appointed Mr Astle, for a short time.
And finally Lauren Jones.
Lauren was fantastic! She used all the evidence provided to achieve a fair settlement. She had to act on the others parties behalf due to him cancelling all legal services. So as a duty of care, she had to work with both parties, unfortunately increasing my fees. Which was another controlling factor.
Even when the other party tried to cancel hearings to extend it further, and create more stress and financial strain for me, Lauren fought my corner, even ringing the courts.
I can’t recommend Lauren enough! She is extremely thorough and knowledgeable, also compassionate and kind. Which is exactly what I needed to get through the past extremely difficult few years.
I highly recommend Lauren and her team ( Joanne) to anyone who needs help with divorce and finances

Very very disappointed, I wouldn’t even give 1 star but there is no op
It felt like I have been communicating the obvious to a brick wall with no real answers. I felt from the outset I was not being represented fairly. I even wanted to pullout out and accept the situation but was told not to only for the benefit of the law firm to make more money from me when I could see where the case was going. It felt like my representative was siding with the other party without actioning my legal requests. I submitted evidence and this was not submitted so was not included?? The judge made certain recommendations but despite this I could see my representative was not honest with me and just gave me a script rather then actually helping me. Totally dissatisfied

Seems they want to pick and chose!
A month after asking for help with an unpaid large debt, and numerous telephone calls, nobody could be bothered to call me back! Seems they want to be picky on who they want to help. I gave up in the end and found someone else!
