Property boundary issue and subsequent disposal

Professionally dealt with the boundary issue with the land registry to enable the disposal of the property - drawn out process due to personal circumstances concerning the property owner passing away mid transaction but at all times communication lines were kept open and ultimately the disposal was completed.

First Class

We chose Paul F. Harfitt & Co to do the conveyancing on a family house we were selling because they were local to us and we had used them before for other legal matters. Alexandra (ably assisted by Carol) was assigned to the work and we found her to be very professional and accessible for what turned out to be a somewhat challenging conveyance. We really felt that she was working with us to get the best outcome as soon as possible.

Sale of my home

After not hearing back from solicitors I approached in Shrewsbury I chose to Google if there was a solicitor in Wem. There I discovered Harfitts solicitors and property agents.
I vivited Wem, I found them very friendly and explained what I needed to know. I heard back without any problems and my proprty has been sold with no issues regarding the solicitor. The only issue was with Britannia sending the redemption statement for my mortgage. The solicitor worked hard to get the sale completed on time, despite Britannia saying they would send the statement and not sending it. I was impressed with how hard the solicitor worked to get everything completed.

Very thorough

A combined house sale and solicitor / conveyance company works really well. Everyone is kept in the loop and communication is kept to a minimum. Would recommend.

Thank You All At Harfitts

I have recently used the services of Harfitts of Wem to sell my late fathers property.

From the moment of initial contact with Alexandra Lusby, I knew she was the person who I wished to engage for this property sale as she was so good at explaining the process without using technical jargon. Throughout the sale process, she proved to be so knowledgeable, super-efficient and a true professional. She was always available to answer questions that arose and I can honestly say, she has excellent communication and advisory skills.

I would have no hesitation recommending the Harfitts team for any legal issues and/or property conveyancing. A one-stop-shop of solicitors and estate agents (which is very convenient) with a superb customer service ethos.

About this branch

Description

Harfitts was initially established as a solicitor's practice by Paul Harfitt in the early 1980's. Some time ago, we decided to extend our services to incorporate the Estate Agency market offering our clients, both sellers and buyers, a unique opportunity to have the whole property transaction, from valuation, advertising, sale and all the legal work relating to the Conveyancing carried out 'under one roof' for ONE combined fee to include BOTH the Estate Agency AND the legal Conveyancing work following a successful offer being accepted. We also offer a traditional range of legal services, concentrating in particular on all legal matters relating to Property Transactions of every description, Wills and Probate matters and Inheritance Tax Planning, Matrimonial and Divorce, and General Litigation and Dispute Resolution.
