WONDERFUL FIRM

My wife and I recently underwent a criminal prosecution for not putting our dog to sleep in a timely manner.

We were represented by Kashif Khan. And extremely brilliant solicitor. He was kind and very helpful. And looked after us well. I've had much experience with lawyers in my past. None have been as good as Kash.

1000% would use again - EXCELLENT!!

Would strongly recommend Hunts & Coombs to use for any house sale or purchases; I will definitely be using them again in the (hopefully not so near) future!

Amanda A at Huntingdon branch was incredible. I was selling a joint owned house with an ex whilst then trying to buy my own property, and Amanda was my acting solicitor for the purchase. If it wasn't for Amanda I don't know how I would've managed to get the sale complete due to the sales solicitors being so poor and inefficient. After 8 months of chasing the sales solicitors, and some poor communication from them, I was left in a sticky situation with potentially being homeless for Christmas! Amanda worked her magic and managed to prevent this happening, which I am so incredibly grateful for and I cannot thank you enough!

Amanda would chase where necessary, and was always acting in my best interest. I was fully informed of the process from start to finish, and any questions were answered and explained. Amanda sat and went through contracts and leases with me, and then had created a separate document to explain this in simple terms. Communication was excellent and consistent.

I will definitely be recommending any friends, families and colleagues to use Hunts and Coombs - Huntingdon should they require a solicitor. 10/10 would recommend and use again. Thank you so much Amanda for all of your hard work, you literally made my Christmas!!

Long delays, poor legal advice, dismissive culture.

Too much to explain but a lengthy stressful experience and we changed to other solicitors who were excellent. Poor legal advice and had we taken it would have either lost our new home or entered into an unprotected legal contract. Weeks without them responding despite emails, telephone calls and office visit. Amanda Buttress and other office staff were defensive, dismissive and rude about us and the vendors and other professionals linked to vendors. They close ranks (Complaints Dept. won’t speak to you on the phone) and not interested in problem solving. They would rather end contract and lose money than work towards solution. Avoid. The sign of a good service is not when an individual does a good job but what happens when there is a problem.

Andy Cave is a lunatic on drugs

Andy is a disgrace. His office gives £25 vouchers to people to write positive reviews online, so take these with a grain of salt. He is a megalomaniacal fool hellbent on mustering every penny from you until at the last minute he weasels his way out of dropping you and your hopes only to be resigned to last minute emergency dashes to find someone new. He is a total fraudster! I also was amazed at his harem of secretaries who almost seemed to take personal offence like Gaddafi bodyguards when we complained !

Excellent Service

We cannot fault this Law Firm and especially the very prompt and efficient service we received from our solicitor. Mr.H Ali went over and above with his service to us over a particularly very difficult house move.
We would be extremely happy to recommend.

House Buying/Selling

I received an extremely good service and will be recommending them to my family and friends. The person who was working for me was called Jodi Ross, Senior Conveyancing Executive. Jodi was very professional and always got back to me personally in very quick time. If you are buying or selling a house this solicitor's firm are extremely knowledgable. They will send you out a list of their fees in advance so you can make an informed choice. If you want to buy and/or sell a house I recommend Jodi Ross at Hunt and Coombs.

Deliberately and underhandedly diverted from wanting to pay funeral invoice directly by relatives bank which was free to do, only to be told to hand them the invoice and later told I was charged for what I was legally entitled to have processed free by the bank. Straight forward work was not addressed and complaint system is ridiculously in just. They break their own client agreement rules by not giving me accurate and full information or avenues of choice as this was something I could have auctioned myself with a letter of administration had I been told and ended up doing anyway in swifter and less costly way. Totally unprofessional and would never recommend or use again.
