There are also smaller details that also make an enormous difference to the experience. For example, I have had solicitors simply email forms to me and ask me to fill them in. It is very pleasant to work with a solicitor who takes the trouble to look at the process through the eyes of a client. For example, documents and forms to be filled in that are provided with context, advice and guidance in the form of notes, attached post-its or pencil markups. This alone saves a lot of time, frustration and head scratching.
