Efficient yet economical

Michael Leaf is an exceptional solicitor. He is super efficient and communicative. He sometimes answers emails before 8 in the morning! As a result, I was able to exit my bridge swiftly:
Date of Instruction: Nov 21, 2024
Date of Completion: Dec 13, 2024.

And - to top up this efficiency, the legal fee is very reasonable.

Personal, efficient service

I purchased my house in 2013 and was so impressed by the service provided by this firm, I recently used them again to sell it. Holly, Lynne and the team were approachable, professional, responded quickly to any questions and efficiently dealt with the many spurious issues raised by the buyer's solicitor. They gave me confidence that they were at all times progressing my sale process, in the face of obstacles not of their making. By them applying pressure when required, the sale was completed on time. Highly recommended.

Fantastic service!

Holly, Lynne and their team are the perfect solicitors if you’re looking for complete professionalism with a personal touch.

Holly’s experience really shines through, we had some challenges to overcome on our recent sale and purchase, which Holly explained clearly and concisely, providing me all the relevant information and options available.

All communion was easy to understand and extremely timely. I knew where we were in the process all way along.

When it came to completion, there were delays at the bottom of the chain which Lynne worked tirelessly over days to resolve, going over and above to make sure we hit our dead line.

I always felt Holly & Lynne were approachable at any point regardless of how busy they may have been. With every direct telephone interaction it was clear they had a detailed understanding of my sale and purchase.

Top Quality Solicitors

Michael Leaf of Cowling, Swift and Kitchin dealt with the purchase of a flat in Leeds for me. My experience with Michael was extremely positive and I would focus in particular on the quality of communication. I have dealt with law firms and individual solicitors in the past from whom it's almost impossible to get a quick reply to a simple question. The speed with which Michael responded, not forgetting his coherence, kept me entirely in the loop, and gave me absolute confidence that his attentions were fully focussed. This is a first rate solicitor working in an efficient and busy office (I've been in) and I recommend him and the company without hesitation to those looking for the highest quality service. I have now given instructions to Michael and CSK relating to a further conveyance and can give no more honest assessment of my regard for them than this.

Three great experiences

Michael Leaf has worked with me on three transactions in the last 12 months. He's been flawless on all of them. I can rest assured that Michael is always looking at the detail and taking a stance to protect me. For example, he ensured we had building regs approved on a conversion in a property that I just purchased, which is something I had overlooked. I can recall more times he identified issues and acted to ensure I wasn't going to have problems in the future. Has a lot of knowledge of property. Very approachable and friendly. Total pleasure to work with, and I can't think of working with anyone else in my next transactions.

Sale and Purchase of non-standard Property

We have move over 14 times and this last move has been the most challenging we have faced as it was a non-standard house - issues over access, council collections, wildlife requirements! Despite the challenges Holly Knight at Cowling got us through. Very happy with the direction and advice she gave and kept us on track and informed all through the process. It was not an easy one but having that support made it manageable. Very impressed.
