Had zero knowledge of the law and made incorrect assumptions
Abysmal. I was looking to get a legal opinion on a dispute regarding a right of way across a portion of my land. I explained the issue very clearly to Leathers Prior. The report they subsequently produced was full of not just inaccuracies, but completely idiotic misinterpretations and mistakes. They'd focused on things that were absolutely nothing to do with the issue at hand, and totally omitted crucial aspects to create a completely worthless piece of junk that was of no use to anybody. They "reduced" their bill to £768 for this pointless, copied & pasted thing which was apparently written with absolutely no legal knowledge and zero attention to detail in 5 minutes. Their "expert" did not ask any me pertinent questions, but instead went off on incorrect assumptions and irrelevant tangents before making ridiculous conclusions, for a fee of £300 PER HOUR, and claimed he'd spent some hours creating the resulting dross. His "expertise" is clearly not worth £3 an hour. I have since, and will continue to warn others to avoid this company like the plague. I recommend that their 'legal experts' should perhaps study for a GCSE in law as a first step to becoming considerably more qualified than they evidently are.
