Sale of late Father's house

We were recommended to use Leathes Prior by our estate agent. We have been very impressed by the service offered, the staff are excellent and very helpful and they have made the whole process easy for us. The staff have been professional throughout, but approachable and friendly, and we would definitely recommend using them.

I'm a great believer in the saying its 'horses for courses' and with Leathes Prior its a perfect example. I have used their services for the past 20 years. Initially it was the legals required for our MBO thereafter on all things employment Law and Leases. On this particular occasion Sally (Challinor) has been excellent in offering advice and guidance all done with a friendly and professional approach. Would 100% recommend.

Flat Sale

I’ve used Leathes Prior previously for a property purchase so had no doubts that they would do a great job when selling my Flat.
Being a lease hold it did take more work on there behalf than non lease hold properties but all work was carried out within the conveyancing quote.
Many thanks to Nadine & Zumiqo for there work x

Leathes Prior small litigation

I was very satisfied with the work done for me by Danny Turpin. It was a small traffic claim and could easily have been scorned as not interesting or profitable but Danny took it seriously and was wise and measured in his advice particularly on costs. Having left it to me to decide on what to do, he proceeded promptly and efficiently. This produced a good result. I would instruct him again.
Having practiced law myself for many years, I see him as an energetic and effective young man, a credit to the firm we instruct on other matters.

Highly recommended

Rachael Hughes at Leathes Prior provided an excellent conveyancing service when buying our family home. She responded promptly to our queries, sometimes within minutes and kept us informed of progress at every step. She was friendly and approachable and explained things to make it easy to understand. The transaction completed within 7 weeks, which was fantastic considering the estate had to go through probate. I recommend her to family, friends and colleagues without hesitation.

abysmal

Absolutely abysmal firm. I asked them for legal advice on a document. It took four weeks to get anything and then it was only to parrot back at me the wording of the document, there was no advice at all. And they charge over a grand for this. Avoid at all costs

Found the service provided supporting and helpful from the very first contact. My solicitor, Harriet Howes, was amazing in supporting me with my case and took control of what needed to be done, but kept constant communication going between us so I understood what was happening at all times. Very thankful for the incredible service she provided me. Highly recommended when you need quality legal advice.
