My brother contacted one of the partners who having had a brief outline of my position was very bullish about my position even stating he would back his team against any solicitors in the country.
So feeling more at ease I instructed them to take my case well that’s as good as it gets sadly 3 months down the line having lost all faith in my solicitor and having spent several thousand pounds I reluctantly changed solicitors.
The only thing that was ever on time was my bill... there was a catalogue of late appointments and in my opinion the guidance was very unclear it’s been far better at my new solicitors.I did raise a formal complaint but not even an apology or admission things could have been done better.
Its such a shame when people just can’t say sorry we’ve failed to be as professional as we should have been.
Instead you get a whitewash of an investigation and gesture without prejudice to make you go away.
