5 months later and they still refuse to work on my case.
I've been waiting over five months for Ackroyd Legal to provide an estimated exchange date for what is essentially a very simple no-chain, no-occupier sale, yet they continue to ignore my requests for updates. Progress is incredibly slow, with weeks and months going by without any meaningful action.
I've had to submit formal complaints and even threaten escalation to the legal ombudsman multiple times, yet still, there’s no sense of urgency or improvement in handling my case.
My original solicitor was professional and communicative, but after they left, my file was transferred to the Head of Department, Florence Oyebola. Despite assurances that there would be no delay, I’ve only managed to speak with her once in over three months. Instead, my case is managed by Tayma Aubed, who is reluctant to give even basic timelines or respond to emails.
Originally, I was set to complete in September, but here we are in November, with no completion date in sight and only empty promises and lies on their part. Most recently, I was told that we were waiting on responses from the seller's solicitors, only to find out the replies had been sent two weeks earlier!
