I was DEEPLY unimpressed with my limited involvement with Saul & his company and only wish I'd read some of the other reviews I've now seen first.
I contacted Saul about my father's estate, following his death. Despite the disadvantages of switching solicitors (and extra cost to me) I terminated my involvement with Saul just 2 weeks later, after a number of disappointments and my confidence evaporating fast. I found him slow to respond, not proactive, often need chasing and lacking in experience in this field - something my new solicitor (who I have nothing but praise for at IDR Law) has confirmed in the handover, e.g. that they were seeking counsel opinions (and charging me for the privilege) for stuff they consider "basic".
I feel my new solicitor offered me better and far more in-depth advice, totally for free in my initial calls with them, than I received in the entire duration of working with Saul.
Even weeks after terminating my case with Saul, it took multiple chasing messages from myself and IDR to obtain the documents Saul had produced which we needed from them and had already paid for. They then even had the cheek to tell me they were undercharging me when I feel very much overcharged for the service I received.
Maybe they are more qualified in other areas of the law but if it's anything to do with inheritance dispute, I'd avoid using Saul and instead go to a company that ONLY deals with that and has a great track record.
