I am happy with outcome of the allegations made against me
I was so happy to read that the police finally could see that the allegations against me were dropped. It was very stressful and I just hope they have pressed charges against her because I was arrested on 2 occasions for false information.

Was very happy indeed regarding my D.D offence
I was always given the best advice, I was told the worst outcome and the best outcome for the case and I was very happy with the sentence I received as it was the best outcome and was suspended with very little Court costs.

Criminal and motoring department
Upon initial notification of a court date I was granted very little time to make arrangements for cover at work. The firm was able to secure an adjournment on my behalf, then were able to get the outcome I wanted at a very reasonable rate.

About this branch
Description
McNeil and Co, formally Andrew Jay & Co was formed in Gainsborough in 1983. At that time it dealt purely with criminal law and today it still enjoys an enviable reputation as one of the most experienced criminal specialists in Lincoln and Gainsborough. It presently has 4 experienced criminal lawyers 2 of whom are “Solicitor Advocates”, Solicitors whose expertise in the criminal courts has been assessed as equivalent to that of Barristers. Over the years the firm acquired lawyers specialising in other areas. First to join was the family team who conduct divorce, domestic violence and children matters. Property lawyers then joined dealing with both residential and commercial land and leases followed by Wills and Estates. In 2009 Philip Hanby acquired the practice. Phil, brought 30 years’ experience of civil litigation and “rounded the circle” to provide a full range of legal services. In October 2020, Mark McNeil purchased the practice and became the Principal. On 10th March 2021, McNeil & Co Solicitors became the trading name of the company. Mark’s number one priority is our clients. The name has changed but our experience and expertise remains the same. We will grow from strength to strength. All in all you might find us different to our competitors. We hope so. We are transparent with our fees from the word “go”. We respect and value our clients and believe that their problems are ours. We give added value and encourage the client to stop us if we stray into using “legalese” instead of plain language. Quite simply we strive to be a rock to our clients during their times of stress i.e. during death, divorce and moving house. We have their trust. Try us and see.
