I discovered Deo Law by recommendation, a recommendation that proved to be very helpful. My wife and I needed advice at a very difficult time following our daughter's terminal cancer diagnosis. Principle Jemal provided sound advice in a sensitive and understanding manner and guided us in drafting wills and setting up a trust for our grandson. Our daughter's illness meant that we were not always able to respond quickly to any issues the process raised but Jemal remained patient and sympathetic and whenever advice was needed Jemal was always swift to respond. On a personal level it was a great pleasure to deal with Jemal, a man who is clearly dedicated to providing his clients with the very best advice and service.

I want to thank Jemal for helping us drafting both our Wills. It is a difficult topic to deal with, but he made the process very straightforward and easy to understand each step. I cannot recommend this firm highly enough.
As executor to a close family member, I was guided professionally, and most importantly, empathetically, throughout the entire Probate and Estate distribution process - it genuinely felt like a minefield at times (especially when you are grieving) but having a calm, professional and friendly person to call upon was remarkably helpful.
It was reassuring to know that despite it being a long legal process, all aspects of tax liability etc. were covered and that our duties as executors were properly discharged.

Deo Law is run by Jemal Deo LLB (EU), a qualified solicitor with almost 10 years’ experience. Jemal is also an Associate Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (“STEP”), achieving a Distinction in the “Preparation of Wills” program. After qualifying as a solicitor in Cambridge, Jemal went on to run a branch of a leading Leicestershire law firm and head-up a Trust department for a Midlands-based company. As well as running Deo Law, Jemal acts as a part-time Locum for firms across the country.
