Best Law Firm EVER

I want to convey my heartfelt gratitude to Donna Richardson and her team at BP Legal.

I made an offer on my first residential property, and they completed the purchase within a month, just in time for the stamp duty change, which saved me a significant amount of money.

Her professionalism and calm demeanour helped me stay positive and focused throughout the process. Every email and call was promptly answered, and I was reassured at every stage.

The fees were very reasonable considering the exceptional service I received.

I highly recommend BP Legal to anyone looking for a competent firm that handles your case with diligence and urgency.

Beyond a 5start Service!!!

I only write reviews after experiencing a 7star service (beyond 5star)...BP LEGAL SOLICITORS!!!

My previous Solicitor which was a very big firm (rather not name), with very fancy mobile phone progress APP, they have a responsive call-centre that lacks human touch, they were painfully slow with my purchase, doing ID check on me 4weeks into the purchase process. Then at the start of MARCH, I sent the previous solicitor an email and I got an auto reply that the solicitor handling my purchase had gone on "annual leave". I was pulling my hair out, I had hoped to avoid stamp duty fees and get completion before 31st MARCH 2025.

Then I decided to reach out, asked around for recommendations for a new Solicitor and searched online myself. I called several Solicitors but unfortunately they were not on my mortgage lender panel, as my lender was a building society, not a high-street bank. Eventually I stumbled upon BP LEGAL SOLICITORS, I spoke to a lady called Donna, my FIRST question, "are you on my mortgage lender panel list?", she checked and answered "YES". SECONDLY, "do you provide expedite (fast-track) service, I want completion in before 31st March (in 3weeks)?" She was positive, she asked a series of questions but listed factors that could hinder progress. With property searches expedited, she was reassured that, if all my documents are readily available, the estate agent and seller's solicitor play their part, etc. it is possible to meet the 31st March deadline however "BP LEGAL would start a fresh purchase process and there can be no guarantees".  Within 20minutes of dropping the phone and whilst still deliberating whether to stick with the previous Solicitor (4weeks in), an email came from a work associate of mine highly recommending BP LEGAL- there are hundreds of solicitors across Leicestershire, WHAT ARE THE CHANCES of being recommended the same firm I had just had positive conversation with 20minutes earlier.

I visited BP LEGAL SOLICITORS office within 2hours of the call however at first, I was in doubt, as BP LEGAL fees including the expedited (fast-track) service was cheaper than my previous Solicitors that did not offer expedited service.  I was totally wrong, my Conveyancer 'Donna' was on it like FIRE, even the estate agent was impressed. She scrutinised all my documents, tough, detailed but prompt. Not only that, she sent more enquiries to the seller's Solicitor than my previous Solicitor. My previous Solicitor raised 6 generic enquiries i.e kitchen appliances, fence, shed etc. but BP LEGAL raised 10 very indepth enquiries i.e. discrepancies in Land Registry information and seller's claim, warranty on the property's conservatory etc. At the time I was thinking, ho no, I don't need all these, it will cause further delays. I expressed my fear of further delays to Donna, she appreciated my need for speed however she reminded me she was a legal practitioner, she must be thorough, comprehensive and would not cut corners but reassured me she will urge the seller's Solicitor to respond and satisfy all her enquiries. I thanked my lucky stars that she did, example, BP LEGAL requested expedited removal of the 'charge' on the property by Land Registry etc. Before I knew it BP LEGAL was ready to exchange within 2weeks and my completion date was set!

The only negative was that we had to painfully contain our EXCITEMENT for 5days to get the keys because Donna and BP LEGAL finished and exchanged earlier than we all thought was possible, so we had to endure a 5days countdown to the  completion date, beating the stamp duty deadline. Still in disbelief, we have days speared before 31st March and I AM ALREADY HOLDING KEYS TO OUR NEW HOUSE!!!

THANK YOU DONNA, THANK YOU BP LEGAL SOLICITORS!!!
