This is the third time I have used these solicitors and their service is excellent. No need for chasing, correspondence and communication is proactive and correspondence is dealt with immediately. All the team at Pigott's made the purchase of my new property + the sale of my previous property go through all the necessary to completion, with ease and no stress whatsoever. If I could give 0 stars I could.
We are in the process of purchasing a house and the sellers are using Pigotts. A legal change was requested 5 weeks ago to be made (a process that is lengthy and requires external solicitors to change the deed), this has been repeatedly missed and not raised causing incredible delays with moving. Our sellers are out of the country and want the chain to complete imminently as do we, as I am expecting twins and will now have to move in with my parents next year and break the chain from our buyers so we don't lose them.
They don't realise the huge impact their incompetence has created and this even includes sending emails not meant for our case or solicitor to our solicitor completely muddying the waters on our file and its status.
I would not touch or trust this firm with a barge pole.
