ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING PLACE TO DEAL WITH... A BIG SHAMBLES OF A PLACE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL... AVOID AT ALL COSTS THESE GUYS WILL HAVE U CHASING THEM AROUND AND THEY DONT KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING TO PPLS CLAIMS ETC.. GOT DIRECTED TO INDIA AND AFRICA ON PHONE CALLS THEY DONT NO A WORD OF ENGLISH AND CLOSED MY CASE TOO ..... CAN ONLY DESCRIBE AS A BACK ALLEY OFFICE...DODGY AS . FOUR Years and still no resolution to my Accident Claim!

At the time of writing it is FOUR years since I was rear ended in my car by another vehicle. Other party admitted total responsibility, yet after constantly chasing them up, being ignored and file being passed through numerous file handlers I am at my wits end! They cannot even get it right from one email to the next about what their next steps are, constantly get it wrong with information I have given them, don't respond to emails, lie about keeping you updated and have absolutely ZERO interest in getting a posaitive outcome for you in a reasonable amount of time. Shocking firm, shockingly apathetic staff and whoever looks after compliance and customer service should be taken out, put in a vehicle that gets hit and then have to use their own firm to progress the claim - then they would realise just how distressing and mentally draining their woeful service is to the people they are supposed to be representing!!

Dreadful Company to deal with I’ve had four different case handlers so far in 3 1/2 years
The third party admitted liability three years ago and DLG still haven’t concluded this case. awful communications never reply to emails promptly takes about four to six weeks if your lucky.

I was recently guided through my case by solicitor Riah Sattar, who provided all the help and advice I needed, responded quickly to all my emails and requests and recently settled my case. I would recommend Riah for a professional service and feel she played a big part in getting me a good outcome.

Direct Line referred my claim to DLG LS to assess it for potential success. According to DLG LS then I have a legal duty to use the free Financial Ombudsman Service rather than my direct line insurance that I have paid for. I wonder if BUPA knows this as they could tell all their customers to use the NHS instead and save themselves a packet too. Clearly a conflict of interest asking what I presume would be the firm having to do the work what the chances of success are for the work they would have to do. Case handler not a solicitor although was very free with terms like "Legal Opinion", "my advice", etc. so you would think she was a solicitor unless you checked. DLG LS QA department is also pointless as it is staffed by non-solicitors who are not qualified to give legal opinions either. Hence they cannot handle complaints about the quality of legal service received. It takes them 5 weeks to realise this though funnily enough. I would have though 5 minutes would be enough. What is the point of a QA Consultant who lacks the skills and qualifications to assess the QA of legal work in a firm that does nothing else BUT legal work? You might as well hire a builder to assess the quality of a GP (no offence to builders but the skill sets are different, the reverse is equally true).
If I could I would give zero stars!

Their mistakes cost me financially and mentally

I used Dlg as they were linked to my insurance company. They have made many mistakes throughout this journey, started with the claim department was promised documents to be sent in the post treatment would be arranged after sustained from my accident however just to call back a few days later as I don’t have the documents to find out was a new member of staff and wasn’t sure what they was doing so had to go through the whole claim process again. Finally was told my claim was straight foward and would be past to a solicitor however wasn’t a solicitor was just a case handler Sandie who had promised me would get my case moving and sorted. There was no contact from sandie. So I had to call on a number of occasions to see where the case was at. After I had email consent etc Sandi had missed my emails so my case was just left with no action or communication I had then spoken to a team leader Tanya about all the issues I had and advised me will pass my case onto a more experience case handler called Melcom however the case is just getting worse and worse where I have to keep a track of everything that is going on and he relies on me to promote him about the case. This has really stressed me out which has taken a knock affect to my mental health which I have explained to the company on a number of occasions but no notice has been take i have asked for a subject access over 2 months now and still do not have that either

Shocking!!

1 year in to my claim where other party accepted liability without fuss. Its since been 1 year of me chasing and chasing and chasing DLG, I've wasted 1 year on this company, giving them everything I was asked and when I get the once in four month email it has no answer to my numerous detailed emails and asks for what they all ready have. I truly believe they do not care and appear to in some way do their best to devalue your claim, they definitely do not work in your (their client) interest. I’ve asked for 10months for this to be logged as a complaint.. I don’t hear anything! What was an inconvenience has been made in to something so so stressful by DLG, whom are meant to make it easier surely. They are absolutely shocking. How are they legit?!! By far the worst company I’ve come across, a disgrace!!
