We used his firm for a commercial property lease and sale. The original lease document has been lost! The sale was delayed by the first solictor to a point where the sale almost fell through and then on sale funds were not paid to the agent as made out and were withheld by the compliance partner for fees that were not justified or agreed. We then complained to the Senior partner Charles Long who does not seem to care in the least - no meaningful reply to our compliant and no apology. We are now forced to refer to the LO and potentially the SRA (depending on findings) and make a claim in respect of the lost lease which we require in a claim for unpaid rent.
Overall - DO NOT USE THS FIRM especially if client monies are to be held by them. It has no leadership and we found it unscrupulous and and the carefree and careless culture pervades from the top down. There are far less expensive and more competent firms.
