I feel very fortunate to have been able to call on Rob (Simpson) to obtain probate and administer the estates of my mother in 2018, and my partner in 2021. Both cases were complex, but Rob handled every challenge skilfully and efficiently, and with great professionalism. His wide ranging legal knowledge and expertise in the above areas are second to none. He is also very good at explaining complicated legal matters clearly, which really helped and reassured me. He is very friendly and easy to talk to, and always made me and other members of my family feel at ease. I also engaged Rob's services to prepare my Will, as I value his work so highly.
I have no hesitation in recommending Rob.

I first met Robert ( Rob ) when my husband died . He came to my home when I was very low and feeling vulnerable but it didn't take him long to make me feel like i was in safe hands. He was professional, knowledgeable, and explained the process of gaining probate clearly. I was able to contact him easily when I had questions and the response always quick.
Further down the line I didn't hesitate to use him to update my will.

My experience of Langdowns is restricted to the contact I had with Rob Simpson and Fozya Chohan. Both were very professional and very willing to answer simple questions. Rob has an affable manner, which encourages confidence in the company. The fees incurred (for the completion of two Wills) were very reasonable.

I was looking for an alternative to the big 'all-services' firms of solicitors and so was very pleased to find Thomas Simpson who specialise in wills and related matters. Rob Simpson is helpful and approachable and made the process of settling my will (put off for some time!) very easy. I now need to set up a Lasting Power of Attorney and will use him again. Very happy with the service and the price.

I cannot speak highly enough of my dealings with this firm. I dealt with Hilary. She was knowledgeable,efficient and friendly. I am.homebound as she visited me at my home in Winchester. She explained everything I was concerned about. With a husband in a care home with dementia,I had various concerns. All this was dealt with with extreme competence. I will certainly use them again and can wholeheartedly recommend them.
