Excellent

We have just completed on our house sale and purchase, our solicitor Jessica worked tirelessly to make sure we completed on time! Communication was fantastic from start to finish, what is a stressful time anyway was made easier by Jessica at Parry Carver Wellington, would highly recommend.

Terrible result, complaint to Ombudsman resulted in Parry Carver reducing their bill, and for separate issues the ICO had to explain their data protection responsibilities!

My divorce was stressful and unnecessarily prolonged, and unfortunately struggling to get responses or progress from my own solicitor was a major factor. The concentration became a battle of words between the two waring firms, which my solicitor took personally, and the original proposal of an agreed 50/50 division of funds, the whole aim of the instruction, was lost in that battle. My settlement was hugely disappointing, falling far short of the original agreed fifty percent. The way I was handled warranted a referral to the Legal Ombudsman, who recommended that the firm reduce their final bill.In addition they received a reprimand from the Information Commissioners Office for incorrect statements made to me. These together are a strong indication of the quality of service I received.I am unable to recommend this firm. I should also have gone to the SRA, but there are only so many battles you can withstand.

Don't expect good service!

I instructed Parry Carver Wellington, to deal with the divorce my wife had requested. From the outset there was - ZERO EMPATHY, EXTREAMLY UNHELPFUL - Stuart J Cairns, treated me as if I should know what was going on. I have never had to go through a divorce before, and hadn't a clue. and tried to communicate this, but as I say there was absolute minimum guidance from this ***** person. You would get better service in the pound shop! I realize no solicitors are cheap, but all the more reason why they should give a helpful and compassionate service. I had to chase them for any answers as to what was going on , they only seemed to contact me when they wanted paying!!
