Got the simple date wrong for notice to landlord to end a lease. A typo by the firm

Mary Monson were retained by me to advise on a simple commercial shop lease. 5 years later I asked them to send notice to the landlord to end the lease within the terms of the lease. They sent a notice to the landlord which was incorrect as MM got the dates wrong in their notice. They Mixed up the months on a lease they had actually originally advised me on! The landlords refused then to accept the incorrect notice. Due to this error by MM. I am now having to pay rates -£18,000 and rent £40,000 being claimed and MM have refused to take on the cost of their mistake. I’m having to use barristers And another solicitor to sue MM for their clear error. Another £5,000 to pay.
