Took nearly 50% of my compensation

Applied for leasehold claim. I was awarded £10k but FS legal deducted £4000. They sent leaflets thought all new build property to make a claim through them and then they take nearly 50% without doing any hardly any work. The matter did not even go to court and one point they encouraged me to drop the claim and not take it to court if the respondents payout
