I have at present on going Case of Equity Release. I have to say it is the worse experience I have had in all my life and I have dealt with Law firms in the past, even worked for them. Some things have delayed it, some which I sorted. Applying for things again which they didn't need too but would have found out if they had made phone calls instead of awaiting emails, ended up where I had to call other companies to get the info needed passed on the info was totally ignored. Blaming other companies, documents going missing that I sent over 5 weeks ago, delaying it even further, the lady came out on the 26th October to get my papers signed, she was 3 quarters of an hour late then sat in her car for ages on her phone. Its very traumatic because you know they have messed up, they don't keep you updated unless you pester them. I was informed my completion date was 29th November, never happened because I got a message to say my insurance had to be altered YET I HAD DONE IT ON THE 30TH OCTOBER AND SENT IT THROUGH TO NICOLE, she even even acknowledged the change, email to prove it. So have they even sent my file to Enact like they say they have!! THEIR FAULT it's an absolute disgrace. Reading other reviews it sounds like i have probably got the same person the other bad reviews have had, can't understand why the keep being allowed to get away with it. All I want is it sorting ASAP. My terminally ill husband died applied for equity to get me back on track, and it's coming upto Christmas, won't be having one at this rate, very very stressful.
